Independent Galway West TD Noel Grealish has confirmed that he has withdrawn his support for the Government.

Independent Galway West TD Noel Grealish has confirmed that he has withdrawn his support for the Government.

The move follows a meeting with the HSE West yesterday over budget cuts.

Deputy Grealish has been threatening to withdraw his support for months and called for a General Election earlier this week.

Speaking to Galway Bay Fm, Deputy Grealish said he was available to meet the Taoiseach or Health Minister Mary Harney to discuss the matter.
