A police officer has been shot and killed in Tarpon Springs, Florida.

A police officer has been shot and killed in Tarpon Springs, Florida.

The Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office said the shooting occurred at around 3am and that a suspect has been taken into custody.

A news conference is to be held later.
