Offical SDLP complaint

The SDLP assemblyman, Tommy Gallagher, is to meet with the Minister for Foreign Affairs in Dublin today to officially complain about the behaviour of the British parachute regiment currently based in Co Fermanagh.

The SDLP assemblyman, Tommy Gallagher, is to meet with the Minister for Foreign Affairs in Dublin today to officially complain about the behaviour of the British parachute regiment currently based in Co Fermanagh.

Mr Gallagher has already met the Northern Secretary to demand the regiment be withdrawn after he received several complaints from residents about the soldier’s unacceptable behaviour.

The current parachute regiment has only been based in Fermanagh since January.
