There is speculation that the Mayo county board will ask for the U21 All-Ireland football final to be put back by a week.

Mayo's U21s, coached by senior boss John Maughan, are due to face Armagh in the decider on October 3.

However, the Mayo senior team, with many of the U21s in its ranks, line out the previous Sunday for the senior football final against Kerry.
