The Minister for Foreign Affairs is to raise the death of a Co Kilkenny farmer with his Czech counterpart in Prague tomorrow.

Brian Cowen is to question how the investigation into the death of 24-year-old Michael O'Leary from Callan is progressing.

Mr O'Leary died in suspicious circumstances on April 21 last, while on a Macra na Feirme trip to the Czech capital.

It is believed he was drugged and then robbed on the night of his death.

Three women have been questioned by local police but were released without charge.

Authorities say they are still awaiting the results of toxicology tests.

Mr Cowen is in Prague as part of a tour of applicant countries to assure them of Ireland's commitment to EU enlargement in the wake of the rejection of the Nice Treaty.
