Pat O'Shea has been appointed to replace Jack O'Connor as the new manager of Kerry's senior footballers.

The Dr Crokes boss was officially ratified as the All-Ireland champion's new manager in Tralee last night.

He is expected to put his backroom staff in place before next week.

O'Shea says he does not intend to make too many changes in the Kerry system operated by his predecessor.

"There's nothing broken, so we won't try and fix too much," he says.
