Gardaí in Kilkenny have appealed for help from the public in tracing the whereabouts of a missing pensioner.

Gardaí in Kilkenny have appealed for help from the public in tracing the whereabouts of a missing pensioner.

Martin Butler, aged 69 years, hasn't been seen since last Tuesday morning, when he left Kilkenny to get a bus to Dublin.

Mr Butler lives in the US, but had been staying with relatives in Kilkenny.

He is described as 5'5" tall, of medium build, with grey hair and glasses. When last seen, he was wearing a grey/green jacket and grey pants and was carrying a small green bag.
