Three children have been released from hospital after a fire broke out in their home in Tallaght, Dublin, yesterday.

Three children have been released from hospital after a fire broke out in their home in Tallaght, Dublin, yesterday.

A 10-year-old girl and her three-year-old and six-month-old brothers were held overnight for treatment for smoke inhalation.

It comes after their 28-year-old mother saved the children by passing them through an upstairs window in the early hours of Christmas Day.

Their mother remains in hospital but is said to be doing well.
