Fixture dilemma for Limerick

The Limerick County Board has a fixture dilemma on its hands due to their dual players.

The Limerick County Board has a fixture dilemma on its hands due to their dual players.

Dual stars Conor Fitzgerald and Stephen Lucey are due to line out for the hurlers in the first round of the qualifiers on June 18, but also are pencilled in for when the footballers take on All-Ireland champions Kerry in the Musnter SFC semi-final the following day.

County board bosses are hoping the hurling fixture will be postponed, which will help their injury victims Mark Foley and Donal O'Grady.

Defender Foley has a broken hand, while midfielder O'Grady broke his finger in the Munster SHC quarter-final replay against Tipperary.
