Former U21 All-Ireland winners Eoin Foley, Mark Keane and Timmy Houlihan have been welcomed back into the Limerick hurling fold by manager Padjoe Whelahan.

Former U21 All-Ireland winners Eoin Foley, Mark Keane and Timmy Houlihan have been welcomed back into the Limerick hurling fold by manager Padjoe Whelahan.

The Offaly native has announced his panel for the 2005 campaign and includes 12 newcomers - the returning trio and debutants David Breen, Patsy Cahill, Michael Clifford, Michael Fitzgerald, Gareth Heageney, Alan O’Connor, Ciaran O’Dwyer, Paudie O’Dwyer and Dave Ryan.

Michael McKenna, Eugene Mulcahy, Albert Shanahan, Paul O’Reilly, Willie Walsh, Eoin O’Neill, Maurice O’Brien, Johnny Meskell, James Butler and Peter O’Reilly are the players to lose out.

Limerick return to training tonight. They face Tipperary in the first round of next year's Munster championship.
