Protestors at the Carrickmines archaeological site in Dublin are blocking construction work on the south-eastern motorway.

Protestors at the Carrickmines archaeological site in Dublin are blocking construction work on the south-eastern motorway.

The protestors are calling themselves 'Carrickminders' and insist that work will not go ahead on the construction of the motorway.

At the moment, they have blocked off the entrance at Golf Lane.

Excavation machinery has not been able to enter the site to begin work on the motorway.
