Fine Gael’s Gay Mitchell will raise in the Dail the treatment of 50 Filipino nurses who are being accommodated in what he claims are overcrowded and unsanitary conditions in Dublin.

Fine Gael’s Gay Mitchell will raise in the Dail the treatment of 50 Filipino nurses who are being accommodated in what he claims are overcrowded and unsanitary conditions in Dublin.

"There are 30,000 people on hospital waiting lists, largely due to a shortage of 1,800 nurses. If we treat foreign medical staff in this manner we certainly will not attract professionals to work in Irish hospitals," said Deputy Mitchell.
