Cork City's O'Flynn a doubt for rest of season

Cork City manager Damien Richardson has conceded that striker John O’Flynn is likely to miss the rest of the season with a recurrence of the abductor muscle injury that has ruled him out for the last month.

Cork City manager Damien Richardson has conceded that striker John O’Flynn is likely to miss the rest of the season with a recurrence of the abductor muscle injury that has ruled him out for the last month.

O’Flynn was coming back to full fitness but the injury flared up again as he warmed up at half time in last week’s 3-0 defeat by Red Star Belgrade.

Richardson admitted that the injury – which stems from a problem he had years ago – is now likely to keep him out until next season.
