Patrick Vieira is set to spark a fresh surge of transfer speculation after revealing that he is ready to walk out on Arsenal.

The 24-year-old midfielder has apparently told his France team-mates playing in the Confederations Cup in Korea that he has had enough of Highbury life.

According to reports, Vieira has become unsettled at the club and now believes that the Gunners’ ambitions no longer match his own.

Manchester United, Juventus, Inter Milan and Real Madrid are all reported to be monitoring the situation.

Vieira’s unrest could pave the way for a swap deal with Juventus for Edgar Davids.

Vieira, valued at a cool £24m, could be used as a lever to start negotiations with the Turin club.

Manchester United again feature heavily, with reports of talks with Lazio over a £20m move for Juan Sebastian Veron.

The champions are also allegedly locked in a head-to-head battle with Chelsea to secure the services of French striker Christophe Dugarry.
