Bohemians player-manager Gareth Farrelly believes the Gypsies will have a secret weapon next season - himself.
Farrelly, 29, has only started one game since joining Bohemians last August because of injury problems though he now insists he is fit and raring to go.
The former Ireland international has plenty of top level experience with Aston Villa, Everton, Bolton Wanderers and Wigan Athletic and believes that he can make a difference to Bohemians as they come to terms with losing nine first team players during the close season.
“I do want to play a bigger role,” said Farrelly. “Last year, people expected me to play but it was primarily injury related that I didn’t. I’m looking forward to playing more and if I’m fit enough, that’s what I’ll be looking at.”
