Relatives welcome exhumation of executed IRA men

Relatives of ten men executed by the British during the War of Independence have welcomed the decision to exhume their bodies.

Relatives of ten men executed by the British during the War of Independence have welcomed the decision to exhume their bodies.

The remains will be removed from Mountjoy prison later this year, following a decision by Dublin Corporation yesterday.

Paula Keogh, the grand-daughter of one of the deceased, Patrick Doyle, said the move was a fitting tribute.
