Three arrested in connection with alleged rape released

Three men who were being questioned about an alleged rape in Dublin's Blanchardstown were released from Garda custody this afternoon.

Three men who were being questioned about an alleged rape in Dublin's Blanchardstown were released from Garda custody this afternoon.

Gardaí said a woman in her late 20s had been the victim of a serious sexual assault in the Castlefield Park area at around 3am on Sunday morning.

A 20-year-old man and two 16-year-olds - all non-nationals - were arrested in connection with the incident.

Gardaí said they had been released pending further inquiries.
