The National Lottery has said it will not reveal the shop where a €94m Euromillions lottery ticket was sold, in an effort to protect the winner.
A ticket holder in Ireland will share the near €188m jackpot with a ticket holder in Belgium.
It is not clear if the winning ticket was bought by a syndicate or an individual.
Early this morning a shop in Sallins thought they had sold the winning Euromillions ticket, but it has since been confirmed they did not.
Dermot Griffin, Chief Executive of the National Lottery, has said they will not be releasing any details about where or when the ticket was bought for some time.
