Wicklow and Trinity College were victorious in Leinster hurling competitions earlier today.
At Rathdrum, Wicklow beat DCU by 4-15 to 1-11 to qualify for the final of the Kehoe Cup. The Garden County side broke into 3-8 to 0-7 lead for half-time and never looked back in the second half.
Emmet Kent claimed the students' lone goal. Wicklow will face Meath in the decider after the Royals mustered a 0-19 to 1-15 win over GMIT yesterday.
Meanwhile, the students of Trinity College claimed their first ever inter-county silverware following a 1-21 to 2-14 extra-time win over Louth in the Kehoe Shield decider at Darver.
Level at 0-6 each at half-time, Louth, who had half-forward Derek Horan sent-off, registered goals through Diarmuid O'Sullivan and Gerard Smyth in the second half to force extra-time.
Trinity, who have major anniversary celebrations coming up this week, edged proceedings in extra-time and Offaly's Colm Coughlan netted his side's lone goal late on.
