Manchester City wing-back Niclas Jensen has attracted interest from German club Borussia Dortmund.

The 2002 Bundesliga champions are eager to recruit another left-sided defender and have targeted the Danish international, who was reportedly recommended to Dortmund by the club’s former midfielder Flemming Poulsen.

“We are interested, and he is interested,” Dortmund director of sport Michael Zorc said from their training camp in Austria.

German media suggests terms with the player have already been agreed and that Jensen will join Dortmund at their pre-season training camp at Steiermark later this week.
