Gardaí investigating a fatal traffic accident in Dublin on Friday night are appealing for witnesses to help with the investigation.

Gardaí investigating a fatal traffic accident in Dublin on Friday night are appealing for witnesses to help with the investigation.

A 23-year old man died when his motorbike hit a temporary bollard on Davitt Road, in Drimnagh, at 9:45pm.

Detectives say they are particularly interested in speaking to a man who identified himself to people at the scene, saying he'd seen the accident happen. This man was a driver of a van.

Anyone with information should contact gardaí at Sundrive Road garda station.
