Cork Co Board dismiss rumours about John Allen’s health
The Cork County Board are pouring cold water on speculation that John Allen has been suffering health problems.
Rumours have been circulating in Cork the past few days that the Rebels hurling boss has taken seriously ill.
But Cork county chairman Mick Dolan has told INN's Will Downing it's simply not true: You can rest assured that John Allen will be on the sideline in Dublin next Sunday week.”
It is thought that the rumour started with Allen being seen entering hospital for what Dolan described as “a check-up”.
