Man held in Dublin after cannabis seizure

A man in his 20s was being questioned by gardaí today after cannabis worth about €50,000 was seized at a house in south Dublin.

A man in his 20s was being questioned by gardaí today after cannabis worth about €50,000 was seized at a house in south Dublin.

The man was held after drugs squad officers raided a home in the Sweetmount Venue area of Dundrum at about 10.30pm last night.

A quantity of cash was also recovered.

The man was taken to Dundrum Garda Station for questioning under Section Two of the Drug Trafficking Act.

He can be held for up to seven days.
