Lifeboat crew rescue three after boat capsizes off Dublin coast

Three people have been rescued from Killiney Bay in Dublin after the boat they were travelling in capsized.

Three people have been rescued from Killiney Bay in Dublin after the boat they were travelling in capsized.

Four people were in the boat when they got into difficulty off Shanganagh cliffs between Killiney and Bray.

One of the people managed to swim ashore and raise the alarm just after 2pm this afternoon.

Dun Laoghaire RNLI lifeboats attended the scene and helped the other three to safety.

They were all transferred by helicopter to Tallaght Hospital for treatment.
