Two men due in court charged in connection with INLA membership

Two men are due before the Special Criminal Court this morning charged in connection with membership of the INLA.

Two men are due before the Special Criminal Court this morning charged in connection with membership of the INLA.

40-year-old Paul Kelly of Cedarwood Park, Coxs Demense in Dundalk, and 30-year-old Anthony Lee of Carnbeg, Doylesfort Road in Dundalk appeared in court on Saturday afternoon, they were remanded in custody until this morning.

Gardaí told the court that the two men made no reply after the charges were put to them.

The two men were arrested in the Dundalk area on Thursday night in relation to ongoing Gardaí investigations into the activities of dissident republicans.
