Hala Bek has recovered from the setback which ruled him out of the Irish Derby and is back in work at Newmarket.
On his last visit to a racecourse the son of Halling was a close but unlucky fourth to Sir Percy in the Vodafone Derby.
He looked to have a winning chance in the Epsom Classic only to swerve badly right in the closing stages on what was just his second start in public.
The three-year-old has been on the sidelines since with a throat infection but connections are hopeful he can run again this season.
“He’s back cantering but it’s too early to say when and where,” Jarvis said.
“He’s back on the road but it just depends how he comes along if and where we go.
“I would hope to run him again (this year) but he had a serious setback at a crucial part of the season.
“Whether we can get him back to how he was on Derby day I don’t know.”
