Authorities in Wisconsin in the US say a helicopter has hit power lines and crashed into a river.

Authorities in Wisconsin in the US say a helicopter has hit power lines and crashed into a river.

Eyewitnesses say part of the propeller broke off as it hit the wires in Oshkosh in the east of the state.

The helicopter is not visible in the water and it's not known how many were on board.
