Person rescued off Howth Summit

A person has been rescued and taken to hospital after getting into difficulty at Howth Summit in Co Dublin.

A person has been rescued and taken to hospital after getting into difficulty at Howth Summit in Co Dublin.

Howth Coast Guard was called to the scene at around midday.

A car with one person inside had gone a hundred metres down a steep incline at Howth Summit.

The person was rescued by members of the coast guard and paramedics from the Dublin fire service.

The rescue helicopter airlifted them to Tallaght Hospital where they are said to be in a stable condition.
