Gardaí in Sligo are now questioning a woman in connection with an armed robbery at a post office in Riverstown yesterday morning.

Gardaí in Sligo are now questioning a woman in connection with an armed robbery at a post office in Riverstown yesterday morning.

Three members of staff were in the premises at the time, but were not injured.

The woman was detained under Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act last night.

She is being questioned at Sligo garda station.
