Nurses begin work-to-rule at Portiuncula Hospital

The Irish Nurses Organisation has begun a work-to-rule protest at Portiuncula Hospital in Co Galway as a dispute continues over the suspension of two senior nurses.

The Irish Nurses Organisation has begun a work-to-rule protest at Portiuncula Hospital in Co Galway as a dispute continues over the suspension of two senior nurses.

The INO wants management at the hospital to enter talks at the LRC in an effort to resolve the 10-week impasse.

From today, INO members will be refusing to answer phones and to conduct certain IT duties until their concerns are addressed.
