Aer Lingus today announced the addition of new routes and increased frequencies to its summer 2012 schedule.
The new routes are from Stockholm and Verona to Dublin, while the airline also said it is to increase frequency on 13 of its other routes, including Faro, Perpignan and Zurich.
Tourism chiefs welcomed the announcement with Niall Gibbons, chief executive of Tourism Ireland, saying the new routes are "fantastic news".
"We are already working closely with Aer Lingus and Dublin Airport to maximise the demand for these new routes and boost tourism," Mr Gibbons said.
