Frankie Dettori has been booked to ride El Coto in next week’s Stanleybet Lincoln at Doncaster.

The Brian McMahon-trained five-year-old was unplaced in the mile event last year and he is a 25-1 shot with William Hill this time round.

Dettori rode the horse once last year to finish fourth in the Bunbury Cup and McMahon is pleased to have secured his services again.

He told the Daily Mail: “We’re thrilled to get Frankie. He rode El Coto for us at Newmarket last year in the Bunbury Cup where only the draw beat us.”
