The NBRU and SIPTU have voted to accept a restructuring plan for Bus Éireann, which was brokered at the Labour Relations Commission.

Bus Éireann tonight welcomed the result of the ballot, saying it would bring stability to the company and protect jobs.

Earlier this month, workers at Bus Éireann staged a two-day strike in protest at proposed cuts.
