Birmingham skipper Damien Johnson is a fitness doubt for the Barclays Premier League clash at Old Trafford on New Year’s Day.
The Northern Ireland international suffered a jaw injury during the 1-1 home draw with Fulham on Saturday and was substituted at half-time.
But Blues boss Alex McLeish has a replacement in Mehdi Nafti who impressed during the second 45 minutes against the Cottagers, while defender Johan Djourou will be available for the final time before returning to Arsenal after a loan spell.
