Man badly beaten in Dublin

A man is in a serious condition in hospital after a beating in Dublin's city centre.

A man is in a serious condition in hospital following a beating in Dublin's city centre.

The man was attacked by two men at 3.30am today outside a filling station on Ushers Quay.

The man in his thirties was rushed to St James’ Hospital and has been transferred to Beaumont with serious head injuries.

Gardai have preserved the scene for technical examination.

Officers at Kevin Street Garda station are investigating the incident.
