Aston Merrygold has started dating one of JLS' backing dancers.

The singer sparked romance rumours when he was spotted getting cosy with 28-year-old Sarah Richards backstage at one of the group's shows and he has now revealed the pair are an item and are completely smitten with one another.

Aston told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "I'm dating; we've been seeing each other for a couple of months. It's all going really well - we're really happy."

This news comes just over a month after his bandmate Marvin Humes tied the knot with The Saturdays beauty Rochelle Wiseman.

And pals believe that Aston may have found his future wife in Sarah.

A source said: "Aston's been perpetually single throughout his time in the band but now he's telling friends that he's a one-woman man.

"He has never been ready for a relationship but he has fallen head over heels for Sarah."

Sarah got to know Aston and the rest of JLS - Marvin, Oritse Williams and J.B. Gill - really well after dancing with them for numerous tour dates.

The band played at London's Roundhouse as part of the iTunes Festival earlier this month and their new single 'Hottest Girl in the World' is released today.
