Taoiseach Bertie Ahern is regarded as Ireland's best-performing politician, according to a survey carried out by a leading recruitment website.

The survey also found that Minister for Health Mary Harney is regarded as the worst performer.

The health service is identified as Fianna Fáil and the PD's main failure, while enterprise, trade and employment is identified as the outgoing coalition's main success.

Elsewhere, respondents said they would install Ryanair chief executive Michael O'Leary as Taoiseach, Minister for Transport and Minister for Enterprise in a fantasy cabinet, with Bob Geldof, Eddie Hobbs and Roy Keane also included.
