The Health Service Executive is reportedly promising to carry out a new inspection of a nursing home where en elderly woman died in distressing circumstances last year.
Earlier this week, the coroner at the inquest into Elizabeth Donovan's death said he would be seeking an immediate inspection of the Lucan Lodge facility in Dublin.
The inquest heard that the 98-year-old had extensive skin ulceration and had not been seen by a doctor for six weeks before her death.
However, a HSE inspection in the months after her death found that the nursing home was in compliance with regulations.
