Twitter singers to record charity single

A group of Tweeters are meeting at the Westin Hotel in Dublin today to record a single for charity.

Every singer, musician, technician, photographer and any one else involved in laying down the track today has been recruited via Twitter for the #twitterxmassingle.

All of the proceeds from the sale of 'Wintersong' will go to the Neo-natal Unit of the National Maternity Hospital at Holles Street in Dublin.

Organiser Brenda Drumm said this charity was chosen because Christmas is about children.
