Operation Freeflow begins in Dublin this morning in a bid to increase the flow of the capital’s traffic.

Operation Freeflow begins in Dublin this morning in a bid to increase the flow of the capital’s traffic.

More than 50 patrol cars and motorcycles are on the streets enforcing the traffic laws, with bus lanes, yellow box junctions and illegal parking all under scrutiny.

The new scheme is hoping to greatly reduce the length of rush-hour journeys.
