Kerr keeps fingers crossed for Duff
Damien Duff, who produced a fine performance against the Cypriots, is struggling with a calf injury to such an extent Brian Kerr rates his chances of playing against Switzerland as “50-50”.
“Damien has not trained this morning because his calf is still quite sore, so we will see how it goes tomorrow because he took a fair kick,” revealed Kerr.
“But as to whether he plays, I am not a physiotherapist and I don’t like to pin down the medical people until it gets closer to the game.”
