Vintners hold conference on future of Dublin pubs

Ways to expand and progress the pub sector in Dublin will be discussed during a special conference today.

The seminar, hosted by the Licensed Vintners Association, is being organised to look at the future for pubs in the capital.

"Clearly [there's] a lot of growth emerging in craft beers, Irish whiskey … and wine remains a very strong performer," explained Donall O'Keefe, Chief Executive of the LVA.

You can't do all things for all people, so the challenge will be for each publican to decide."

Up to 200 publicans and drinks suppliers will attend the event.
