Woman held over torso boy

A woman has been arrested in connection with the murder of a boy whose mutilated torso was found in the River Thames, police said today.

A woman has been arrested in connection with the murder of a boy whose mutilated torso was found in the River Thames, police said today.

The married mother, who is aged in her 30s and of West African origin, was held at her home in Glasgow.

She was being questioned by detectives at a police station in south London.

Officers from the Metropolitan Police and Strathclyde Police removed possessions from her home.
