Gardai in Dublin are awaiting the results of a post mortem on the body of a

man found with serious injuries yesterday in the Christchurch area of the

city.

The gardai were called by staff at the Mater Hospital who became

suspicious after the man was pronounced dead.

The man who was in his twenties, was found at St Michael's Hill, at about 4pm yesterday.

He has still not been identified.
