Portsmouth manager Avram Grant has made two changes to a side staring relegation in the face after they became the first Premier League club to enter administration yesterday.
Following last Saturday’s 2-1 defeat at home to Stoke, Grant has opted to drop Aruna Dindane and Papa Bouba Diop, bringing in Danny Webber and Ricardo Rocha for the game with Burnley at Turf Moor.
As for the Clarets, boss Brian Laws has made three changes following his side’s 5-2 defeat at Aston Villa on Sunday.
Laws brought in Martin Paterson for the ineligible David Nugent, whilst Wade Elliott and Robbie Blake replace the benched Chris Eagles and Jack Cork.
To commemorate his appearance on Channel 4’s 'Countdown' this past week, on the team sheet captain Clarke Carlisle’s name was jumbled up as if in the conundrum.
