Anton Ferdinand is expected to be fit for West Ham’s Barclays Premiership clash against Manchester United at Upton Park.
The England Under-21s international had been struggling with an ankle injury, but new boss Alan Curbishley believes his centre-back will be ready to face the league leaders on Sunday.
Danny Gabbidon remains sidelined with a hamstring complaint, while striker Dean Ashton (ankle) will not return until next month.
