The issue of energy conservation is being highlighted in Dublin today.

The issue of energy conservation is being highlighted in Dublin today.

Eight families from around the country who signed up to participate in a test energy-saving programme have gathered in the city to talk about their experiences.

Energy coach Aodhan MacPhaidmn said that those taking part are saving on average 20% on their energy bills.

This is the latest part of the 'Power of One' campaign, which is sponsored by the Department of Communications, Energy and Natural Resources.
