The number of people using the LUAS tram service in Dublin has fallen over the past year, according to figures out today.

The number of people using the LUAS tram service in Dublin has fallen over the past year, according to figures out today.

Around 27.4 million passenger journeys were made on the service in 2008, down from 28.4 million in 2007.

Passenger numbers on the Green Line have remained steady, while the performance of the Red Line has been more volatile.
