Gardaí arrest man who climbs RTE mast with banners

The fire brigade was called out in Dublin last night after a man climbed the mast at the RTE campus in Donnybrook.

The fire brigade was called out in Dublin last night after a man climbed the mast at the RTE campus in Donnybrook.

The man, whom it is understood was carrying a number of banners when he scaled the structure, came down safely early this morning.

Gardaí say a man has been arrested for questioning and has been taken to Irishtown Garda station.
