GPA awards for Hickey and Hughes
All-Ireland winning duo Noel Hickey and Kevin Hughes have been named the GPA SEAT Players of the Month for September.
Kilkenny hurling full-back Hickey helped the Cats to retain their title at the expense of Cork while Tyrone star Hughes was Man-of-the-Match on All-Ireland football final day against Armagh.
GPA Chief Executive Dessie Farrell said: "The focus will now shift to the SEAT Player of the Year awards, where recipients will receive a new SEAT Leon car to be presented at our Gala and Awards evening, on November 7 in the Burlington Hotel."
